Please tell me the difference

Can anyone look at these two documents and tell me what the difference is? To me they both look like birth acts for the same person.

One is probably the Baptism record. The ones I extracted from 1809 had this - there were two acts for the same person.

No Baptism.

The handwritten document is the formal declaration, undersigned by the informant and the witnesses, the typed one si the actual record in the book register:

The last paragraph of the handwritten document states:
"Dopo esserne fatta loro la lettura in presenza del dichiarante e dei sopraddetti due testimoni il presente atto di ricognizione di nascita è stato firmato tanto dal dichiarante che dai suddetti testimoni e dal detto signor sindaco"
=
"After having read it, in the presence of the informant and of the above mentioned two witnesses, the present birth-acknowledgment act was signed by the informant, the two above mentioned witnesses and by the mentioned Mr Mayor.

The typed document on the other hand states:
"Ed essondone dal suddetto sig. Francescantonio Gagliardi fatta e sottoscritta formale dichiarazione in presenza del signor Sindaco e di due testimoni che sono ...
che originalmente da me si conserva nel volume delle cautele del presente registro.
E per esecuzione della Legge se ne è fatta trascrizione nel presente libro. (Firmato dal sindaco)"
=
"Since the formal declaration was made and undersigned by the above mentioned Mr Francescantonio Gagliardi in the presence of Mr Mayor and of the two witnesses...
[the same declaration] is kept by me in the security section of this register.
And according to the Law was copied in this book. (signed by the Mayor)"

Nuccia, the acts of Ardore have on the left the space to record the baptism

So why are they recorded twice? If you look at the two tables, there are two acts for almost every person - I'm confused. Sad

Yes they are the same situation, the one with the baptism annotation is the original declaration and the second one is the actual record in the book.
