again me: when Giacomo Podestà ( aka Jacob, and died as Joe Podesta on 4 Jul 1973 San Mateo, CA, USA) immigrated in USA, the final destination was the brother in law Luigi Queirolo in Tuolumne, CA, USA;
the maiden name of Luigi Queirolo mother was: Dellacasa;
here the death record of Luigi:
California Death Index, 1940-1997 about Luigi P Queirolo
Name: Luigi P Queirolo
Social Security #: 0
Sex: Male
Birth Date: 26 Dec 1875
Birthplace: Other Country
Death Date: 31 Dec 1945
Death Place: Tuolumne
Mother's Maiden Name: Dellacasa
Father's Surname: Queirolo

we know that Vittoria Rosa Podestà nee Queirolo, sister of Luigi was born in Mezzanego; by death record:
First Name: Victoria
Middle Name:
Last Name: Podesta
Name Suffix:
Birth Date: 25 August 1885
Social Security Number: XXXXXXXx
Place of Issuance: California
Last Residence: Belmont, San Mateo, California
Death Date: July 1977
Estimated Age at Death: 92

but really she was born in Mezzanego, yes, with name of Vittorina Rosa Queirolo on 2 aug 1886 ( no 25 aug 1885), daughter of Domenico Queirolo and Anna Dellacasabut; birth act:

I believe that your Edoardo was born in the area also.. I try but really the probable birth year is a bit little infos, but if I will find more I will let you know...

Diane, Eduardo was 24 old in 1908... so born between 1883 and 1885... right?

Checked everything out and it looks like he was not naturalized. Typical!

His sons birth certificate has the name of rudger as his surname so I requested a marriage cert for his second marriage to see if he had put his real dads name down but it just has John Rogers, which is the next name he changed his to - Brick wall again.

I spoke to a relative today and they said they remember Edward mentioning he was born in either Genoa or Milan around 1882. He aso said he fought in the war for Britain. Diane x
