I believe my Great Grandmother is Catarina Lopardo married to my Great Grandfather Michele Bucco. I have my grandmother's baptismal certificate listing her mother as Caterina Lopardo and her father as Michele Bucco. The baptismal certificate was in a batch of family records given to me by my aunt. The church were she was baptised is the Church of the Transfiguration, 29 Mott St., New York City. The date of the baptism is October 9, 1890. My grandmothers name was Filomena Bucco. Her first name was listed as Philippa, Felice, Filomena or Philomena depending on the document. Last name was listed as Bucco, Bucca, Bocca or Bollo depending on the document. Frustrating isn't it. My Email is rdest1 @ ix.netcom.com
Contact me and I will email you the baptismal document. Hopefully we can go from there.

I need to clarify my email address. It is rdest1 @ ix.netcom.com. Please contact me I have further information regarding 1900, 1910, 1920 census forms. The 1910 census form which cross checks to the same address in Hoboken has Catherine and Michele immigrating in 1882. That would explain Anthony's baptism in May of 1884 in NYC. Contact me we have the same great grandparents.

Why not post the information here so that it might be useful to others in the future. Emailing between each other kind of defeats the purposes of these forums. Very Happy
