If someone would be kind enough to translate the following letter, I would be very, very grateful! Thanks so much.

Dear Rosa,

I am very happy and thankful that you were so kind to reply to my letter (and I am sorry it has taken me so long to respond!). I’m not sure if we are related, but I am pleased to make your acquaintance. I have enclosed a chart of the descendants of my ancestors, Francesco Montano and Vincenza Tauriello, to the best of my knowledge.

My parents moved to Kentucky from New York over 30 years ago. I have lived here in Louisville my whole life. I married my husband Trav in 2005 and in 2006 we had a son named James Nicholas. I have been to Italy once before, but that was before I did any genealogy research. I did a lot of sight-seeing and visited Venezia, Verona, Firenze, San Gimignano, Siena, Roma, Napoli, and Pompeii. The history and art is just amazing. Someday, I hope that my dad and I will get to see San Fele. I have seen some photos online and it looks so beautiful.

I am sorry to hear that your father’s health is not good. I hope that he feels better soon. My best wishes to you and your family.

Kindest regards,
Heather

(I am also labeling a couple of photos - does the following sound correct?
'Mi e mio figlio James e mio marito Trav.'
and
'Mio padre e madre.'
Thanks!)

Cara Rosa,

Cordialmente,
Heather

'Io, mio figlio James e mio marito Trav.'

'Mio padre e mia madre.'
