I am looking for any information on the following families that lived in Aliano and if there are any family members still living there or in the area........

Pizzo - Balzano - Castronuovo

My greatgrand father and grandfather were born in Aliano. They came to the US right around the turn of the centruy.

The particulars are:

GGF - Francesco Pizzo DOB 29/3/1851 Aliano

Francsco was the son of Andrea Pizzo and Rosa Castronuovo

GGGM Rosa Casttonuovo was the daughter of Francesco and Teresa DeRosa

Francesco was married (on 26 5/1887) to GGM Maria Luisa Balzano who was born Missannello on 2/5/1858 (then it appears the Balzano family moved to Gallicchio and had additional children)

GF - Vito Pizzo DOB 19/4/1893 Alaino

Vito Pizzo was the son of Frnacesco Pizzo and Maria Luisa Balzano
