I am trying to locate my grandfathers birth records.

Dominick Cento, born 1889, in? Reggio di Calabria
He left for the US in 1900? Have been told of a monument in reggio with the names of the men who left. Have also been told that the family home overlooked the city and that they were considered wealth off. Can anyone help?

you might want to visit a Family History Center and rent
the film containing the civil records you need.
