I am researching the following surnames:

Teti, Francavilla Angitola, Italy

Could these be posted in the surnames database?
Any info would be helpful

Thanks for the welcome, my grandmother Giovannina Onofrio was born in Pennsylvannia but I believe the family returned to Italy as my grandmother returned to Italy with her children as her mother was ill. She returned to the US with her children with a new addition and her two sisters.
My grandfather Antonio Passarelli was born in San Fili, where they got married I don't know.
Both are buried in New Rochelle, NY

Thanks Cathy, any info would be appreciated, I know that my grandmother returned to the US with two sisters, Rose and Concetta, one sister was left in San Fili, Christina. I don't know if there were any brothers. My grandfather and Grandmother might have been married in San Fili but I am not sure

Is this your Antonio? Since you didn't say what you had I thought I would post it. He naturalized very early on...
World War I Draft Registration Cards, 1917-1918
about Antonio Passarelli
Name: Antonio Passarelli
City: New Rochelle
County: Westchester
State: New York
Birth Date: 1873
Race: White
Roll: 1753932
Antonio Draft
Oh, and I almost forgot. I'll add your names to the database within the next day or so.

Thanks, the 1930 census is correct, wife was known as Jenny, info I have word of mouth is that she was born in Pa. the children are correct , Millie was my mother. Antonio Passarelli was born 10/10/1873, grandmother born 8/20/1882.
I am not sure of the 1900 census, I estimate that they were married in 1907. I would appreciate if you do link them, which census says married for 5 years? I also believe I had an Uncle named Antonio Passarelli. What was the date of the petition? Can I download or print these?
Again thanks so much. I am hoping that I can get a birth act from Francavilla for my other grandfather. I also have a ship manifest showing my grandmother with 5 girls and two sister returning to the US from San Fili in 1921

I thought I would post the 1921 ship manifest for reference. It's two pages. Giovannina and sisters and children are on lines 6 through 12.
If you check the second page it shows Giovannina's birth place as San Fili and her sister Concetta's as Philadelphia.
Page two also shows sisters are going to New Rochelle to join father Giuseppe and Giovannina and children to join husband/father Antonio Passarelli both living at 291 Union St in New Rochelle, NY. Since sister Concetta was born in Philadelphia about 1899 and sister Rosa was born in New Rochelle about 1901, Giuseppe Onofrio, Giovannina's father, and her mother may have initially emigrated to the Philadelphia PA area before relocating to New Rochelle.
Also on page 2, it shows that Giovannina was previously in NY between 1902 and 1911.

Nice Biff.
Thank you for posting it and for the summary.
I miss looking things up...let me go back and link the census records and see if you can piece things out.
tteti,
You can print the records through the links now. Let us see what else we can find for you.

You're welcome, Nuccia. I'm off to the eye doctor. After my eyes get back to normal later this afternoon or early this evening, I'll see what else I can find relative to census and manifest information. The WWI Draft card you posted has the same address as the one on the 1921 manifest so the family should have been living there when the 1920 census was taken. I'd like to see if I can find Giovannina's father's manifest and/or census records to see if we can learn the mother's first name.
Later,
Biff

Census of of Interest..although I'm not convinced that its your Antonio. Of course, Jenny was in Italy during this time (since Biff found the 1921 manifest) so she may have been missed. As for Antonio..it may be a relative...but at this point, I can't seem to find another Antonio..

Possible 1910 Census..

Says they were married 8 years which puts the marriage at about 1902. I think I'm going to revisit that 1900 manifest...looks like there is another Antonio...
