The only consolation is that the ball is round, and so it may fall more favourably for us over the next few games.

Nice to see Del Piero back - even at 33 he is a wonderful player and a gentleman! But let's be honest - Italy miss the likes of Canavaro and Totti!

So - one down - on to the next!

FORZA

Guys.

I love the game but, my loyalties are very confused:
When Ronaldinho Gaucho plays I am for Him ( No more, lazy bum)
When Christian Ronaldo plays I am all Manchester United ( xuxu beleza in BR)
And many times Milano had my heart!
If Toti plays faccio il tifo per lui. E tanto bruto che e bello!
If Piero plays , Ok.
And always for Buffon! The best!
Can not stand LA and its STAR. Plays 3 seconds = 5 injuries.

If am in Cosenza vado in campo fare il tifo per Cusentino United!
My husband has given up on me!
In US after so many games I still get confused.
In my stints in Canada learned hokey!!! Can not stand Curling!
So, I am the perfect fan!

Italy wins against France 2-0! It was a bit of a rough game..lots of yellow cards, one questionable red card to France and a few Italian players will miss the next game against Spain. Really, we could not afford to have lost those two players facing the "top" team of the series so far but hey..we will need to wait and see what happens next! Seems Italy is only getting stronger. Lets hope they continue the momentum.

I could choose between watching on the BBC programme or the Italian RAI programme.

No prizes for which one I chose!

FORZA AZZURRI!!!

>ITALIA -Italia!>

and another version... A bit modern - but 'I' like it!!!
>VERSION 2 FOR 'US YOUNGSTERS'!<

What a horrible game! Both Spain and Italy I feel did not play well at all, but I am glad Italy gave them a run for their money.

Italy lost to Spain in penalty kicks.... Sad
