My brother in law just dropped off a DVD of some footage of my late father in law that looks to have been filmed in the late 1950's sometime. My mother in law is no where in this film but it appears he was present for the Queen's Visit to Toronto as it shows her driving downtown accompanied by her husband and other escorts.

Would anyone happen to know when the Queen visited Toronto and for what purpose? I will try to find a way to put the film online although it was copied from an 8mm film so the quality isn't great..but it's still amazing to watch and wonderful to see as my father in law died 6 months before my husband was born.

Wow! That's incredible. You have to get that video up on youtube. I would love to see it, and I'll bet a lot of others would as well.
