"See Naples and die" so they say....
This was posted on another forum I belong to where they were talking about life in various parts of modern Italy and how things had changed in some places, but others had remained steeped in tradition. Napoli was one such city, and this 20 minute documentary - without commentary - is quite incredible. It shows a Napoli that I'm sure very few tourists will ever see - and what they are missing!
The vibrant soul of the city and it's people shine through in this short chronicle. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.
But one thing, which you will see in this film, and which I still find strange, even after living in Italy for many years, is the habit of applauding the coffin at a funeral, .
