Maybe I can help someone - I have the film from FHL of Grumo Appula
Nati 1857-1865 Matrimoni 1809-1832

If you'd like me to check something, let me know. After 3 straight days the handwriting is getting easier. I'm thinking of putting it on indefinite loan as I don't think I can finish what I need by Apr.24.

A question - The overwhelming majority of entries regarding the mother have the phrase - sua moglie or sua legitima moglie after the mother's name. I have come across about 6 that have nothing after the mother's name. Does this imply the couple weren't married?

Thanks,
qnana Smile

Sua moglie means his wife (wife of the declarant, the father of the baby)
Sua legittima moglie means his legittimate wife
I hope it helps
bye Riccardo
