#1: ancestry question Author: Poipu04, Location: ConnecticutPosted: Mon Mar 30, 2009 10:20 am ---- Someone added new content to my tree on ancestry and I am not totally sure how to figure out who did it. The dates are in Italian, so it must be either an Italian relative or someone else with data on my family. I am also not sure who can add date on the tree. Is it only people you give permission to? If so, then it has to be my Italian cousin, because there is only one Italian speaker with permission to add to my tree. However, I did have comments added to my tree by a stranger who must have access to films or records of Pizzo, Italy.

I believe that only people you designate as a Contributor can add data to your tree; people designated as Guests can only view the tree or make comments. And only you as the Editor/Tree Owner can modify or delete data.
