I had to shar this with all of you. I had this conversation today with a live chat operator from dot5hosting. I have been on the phone with them and online since 3:45 pm..it is now 5:37 and I'm still on hold without a straight answer..

Oh Lee..you have no idea what I had to go through! Carole was on skype while I was on chat and on the phone with them at the same time. She was killing herself laughing.

This guy was too funny..i finally got through to them (after blocking my phone number) and I was helped by a really nice guy. Hopefully I'll get my credit..

As for the new server..its here!!!!

Lets hope this only gets better..my nerves are fried.

I would have cursed him out so bad his mother would have felt it...what a moron! God I wish I was on skype with you when this was going on Carole must be dead from laughing so hard I would have been!

Well it was funny in a strange sort of way....and I did learn a few new 'cuss words' from a certain lady who shall remain nameless Smile .

But 'The Boss' is right - it was unbelievable. I don't know where they teach these people about 'customer service' - but perhaps the company should consider asking for a refund from the charm school that trained them Mr. Green

If the guys that Nuccia was dealing with had ever worked for me and treated their customers like that they would have been out of the door so fast their feet wouldn't have touched the ground...

But it wasn't only THAT which caused us, (well Nuccia actually - I was too embarrassed), to 'fall about laughing'. But I'll put that on another thread for you to enjoy!

I dont deal with these tech help idiots. I cancel their services via credit card..when I get ticked off.

A few years ago, I needed to buy a new norton anti virus, since they would no longer allow me to download their definitions..with the one I had. So nice..that you buy something, own it a couple of years, pay for their definition subscription service and now they are wanting an additional 30 or 40 bucks for almost the identical version as you have.

Anyway..I tend to do things in the middle of the night..and it was after midnight when I ordered this downloadable version of norton.

Once you order..unbeknownst to me..they switch you over to some other company for the download. I download this new program, go to install it..and before it will install, it tells me to click for their license page..to verify. I click..I get a 404 error page. Click again, same. I did this several times..and I could not install the program without passing this page.

I go over to the norton site. It took me another half hour to figure out, it was out of their hands. They got my money..I couldnt complain to them.

I go to the site of the download and find an email address. I email..waiting for at least an auto reply..nothing. I did this every hour..morning is getting near. No reply.

I go to bed..in the morning..again I email them. No reply.

Well..I had had it. I use my phone, called mastercard, explained the situation and had them take the charges off my credit card. I had already deleted the installation file.

I now email the company and tell them...nevermind..dont answer me..I took the charge off my credit card and deleted your installation file.

I got a quick reply. Oh no..you cant do that. Call your credit card company back..and have them reinstate the charges so that we can remove them.

?????????????

Are they freaken nuts? Or is it me?

I never replied..nor did I call back my cc company. Nor..did I ever use norton again.
