I think this poster's name is Monica. She says:

Hello, I am from Argentina, my surname is Sacapparone, my parents were from Genova, but I have seen on the Internet that there is a mountain in Calabria Reggio Calabria Moticelli that is called Monte Scapparone, I would like to know the history of my surname, because if there is a mountain in Calabria that is called like that then it must be that my name comes from there too. If you can tell me anything it would be wonderful. Goodbye and thank you

Can anyone help her?

I've found the same information repeated on the internet but nothing to indicate how the name came about. Looks like the area is uninhabited now except for a few shepherds and their families. The mountain is located in the area of Sant'Agata del Bianco, province: Reggio Calabria - region: Calabria

Maybe Luca can look at his surname data and see if he can find the origins of Scapparone. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
