I copied this record about two years ago and forgot all about. Now I can't read it (especially since my glasses broke). Can someone lend my their eyes and give me the basics (date of birth, year and parents info) please?

Maria, filatrice(!), domiciliata in Caulonia.

The pic is of a very poor quality, so there are a few word i cannot understand for certain (and i put a "!" where i wasn't sure)

Thanks Luca. I really appreciate the translation very much. Yes, it's not the best quality but I will just have to copy it again one day when I go back to the FHC. I haven't been there in months - seems I never have an time to go anymore. Sad

Hi, Nuccia! Hope you are doing well. I just found out that my husband's great-great-great grandmother's name was supposedly Caterina Simonetta. This side of the family is all from Caulonia. She was married to Domenico Vallelonga, had 5 children Anna, Francesco, Maria, Rosa, and Giuseppe (not necessarily in that order). I know for sure Francesco immigrated because our great grandfather Cosimo (Giuseppe's son) was meeting him in WV when he came over.

Anyway, getting the new Simonetta name last night, I came to your site to see if I could find any mention and found your post.
