I am finally ready to send a letter to Italy to request my granfather's birth act......I've used an online translator page and wonder if one of you could look at the results and see if I need anything else in my letter......please!!

I also need to find the correct address to send this to, if one of you would be so kind.........thanks in advance......

Thank you Livio............I don't know Elena's maiden name though. Should I state that in my letter?

You may write "Elena (cognome sconosciuto)".

thank you again Livio...........I will add that phrase to my letter and off it will go tomorrow. Such great people on this site, I never would have gotten this far without all the assistance here........
