Thank you so very much Suanj and nuccia, I think this was Marianna's husband. Very saddened to think that after returning to Italy she may have died or been abandoned. But I think my G. Grandmother her sister would have sent for her to return to the UK if she had been abandoned, I fear she must have died, how very sad to know. I hoped that she may have had surviving children and so forth. But I now feel that I may have a new lead with the son Romolo Pettrozi who married in the UK. Hopefully I will be able to find out what happened and uncover some of the mysteries that is if he had any children. He settled finally in Canada after marrying a third time, and here the family were thinking they had returned to Italy where they remained, lived and died. I am still no closer to finding out Marianna and Giuliettas mothers name. the fathers name is on Giuliettas (my G. Grandmother) married Certificate - Cesaro Tudda, but there is no mention of her mother Cesaro's wife. How can I find this out??? If the records were destroyed because of the war is there no other means of finding out? But I would like to say a big Thank you once again. Angel |
