In Pagine Bianchi I was looking up people to write and noticed something I did not understand. What does Avv mean (after a surname)? It shoed up like this: Napolitano Avv, Francesco
Thanks.

I believe that the abbreviation "Avv." stands for Avvocato or Attorney.

Thanks Riccardo. I knew there were only 3 Napolitano's left in Parantoro. I "met" their nephew on Facebook and he lives in Toronto but he was not very helpful. He had told me there was only the 3 of them left there in Parantoro. One of the Napolitano's moved to San Fili - her name is Franca but I could not find her. Her father was Gisberto who Phil Caputo interviewed for his newpaper article. They are some relation, just not sure how. Confused
