I see that someone has extracted records for Roccella Ionica for 1902. I am trying to locate my Grandfather's birth record. He was given the name Giuseppe Galileo and put up for adoption at birth. He was born on March 19, 1887 in Roccella Ionica. His father was Vincenzo Falcone. I am not sure if the Birth record will show Giuseppe Galileo or Falcone. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

I extracted the records for 1902 but I don't have the ones for 1887 on loan - at least I don't believe I do. Have you written to the Comune of Roccella Ionica to request the birth act yet? You could since you know the date of birth and the two names that he could be registered under. I think we may be able to help you write that request. Let us know what your thoughts are this. At worst I may be ordering the films but until later in the year so we should try this route first.
