I thought I would start a thread seeking those who have Bavetta relatives from Santa Margherita di Belice in Sicily. My great grandfather Andrea Bavetta immigrated to the US in 1915 from Santa Margherita. His first wife was Liboria Giovenco who died in Santa Margherita in 1908. Their children, all born in Santa Margherita were Luciano (my grandfather), Giuseppe, Calogero, Vincenzo, Caterina, Rosalia and Domenica. I am seeking information on their family in Sicily - specifically any family of Andreas Bavetta or Liboria Giovenco. I'm also looking for information on Andrea Bavetta's second wife, Grazia Puccio who immigrated to the US with him. I also believe some of the family immigrated to Argentina.
