I am the grandson of Antonio and Guiseppa Romeo Crucitti. My grandfather is one of I think 7 brothers and his parents were Demetrio Crucitti and Caterina Morabito. His nephew, Francesco Crucitti was the surgeon who operated on Pope John Paul II when he was shot. My mother is Maria Crucitti Cherrone. She was born in Cataforio on Dec 11, 1910 or 1911. She had an older sister, Caterina. Any help you can provide is most appreciated.

The marriage record for Demetrio Crucitti and Caterina Morabito is on there from 1861 with their parents' marrying in 1824 listing their parents.

Note well that when you track back the ancestors of Bruno Crucitti that in the marriage registers of S.Agata par. SS.Salvatore he is named as Bruno Colocitti. You will find his marriage there in 1786.
Unfortunately the parish priest of S.Salvatore did not take very much care of his registers after the earthquake of 1783 and you are one of the victims as he did not mention the parents of the groom and the bride.
I hope you will trace down their parents by studying carefully the names of their children and then compare the (many!) Crucittis in the register of baptisms.
Be careful that the name Crucitti is also written as Clucitti.
