A man was driving very fast on the motorway breaking the speed limit. He was spotted by the policeman and he gave chase, with sirens and lights flashing but the driver of the car didnt stop in fact he put on speed.
Finally he was forced to stop and the policeman questioned him.
'Were you not aware that you were breaking the speed limit?'
They man replied that he was aware of this fact.
'Then why did you not stop when requested to do so?'

The man replied, 'Well, last week a policeman ran away with my wife and I thought this was him bringing her back!!
