The document is very hard to decipher.

La Barbiera is a different surname, it is not the same as La Barbera

Stefano La Barbiera born 1851 July 31 from Francesco (not sure at 100%) and Vincenza Papa. Bapt. August 1.
Now i think la Barbiera isn't a mistake but an existing surname and different from La Barbera. At present in Palermo's district there are at least 200 La Barbera phone addresses and 12 La Barbiera.

I just had Antonino LaBarbera ecord translated and it is no doubt Giovanni's brother, and the name is now spelled like my name in that record where I think Giovanni's record had the 'i'.
